TREK TO NARYANADURGA HILL

Trek to Naryanadurga.
Naryanadurga is situated in Mandya district, K R PET taluk in Rayasamudra village.
We started to Naryanadurga from whitefield railway station at 10:30pm in train. We don’t have any direct train to naryanadurga so we had to go to pandavapura taluk railway station from there catch a bus to K.R pet taluk and hire a auto rickshaw to rayasamudra village in which naryanadurga hill is situated.
We reached at the bottom of the Naryanadurga hill at 8:45 am as the weather was cloudy and cold wind was blowing which provided us a awesome feel. At the bottom of the hill we have goddess kali temple. We offered flowers to goddess.

The villagers say that this mountain must be trekked by bare foot.  We started to trek by bare foot. Naryanadurga is stone hill not much covered by greenery the best time to trek this hill is in the morning as we won’t feel the heat of the sun.
We can find stone path ways up to certain height after that we will come across cliffs which are the dangerous part in the trek.
